Welcome to a BUMPER Episode of the Dingo Dyeworks Puppy Podcast.
On today’s preview of Thursday’s Shop Update, we have DOUBLE the colour! We have 8 NEW skeins of speckles in brights and muted colourways. I was so excited when these came out of the dye pots, that instead of releasing some today and some down the track, I just couldn’t wait to share them with you and so here they are.
The colours in order of presentation are;
Bilpin – peaches
Cobar – reds
Roxby Downs – greys/greens/reds/mauve/brown/orange/yellow
Ocean Shores – purple/teal/pink
Honeymoon Bay (aka Barbie ;-)) – bright pink
Goolgowi – peach/pink/turquoise
Balladonia – yellows
Coolabah – turquoise blue/pink
Before we do show all the colour matches, we have a very exciting collaboration launching this week with Addydae Design’s MCAL – Three Springs.
Three Springs is a beautiful shawl and if you would like to use Dingo Dyeworks yarns, we have 2 kits put together for you to choose from – one yarn kit has pinks/yellows//browns/greens. The yarn colours are called Three Springs, with Everlasting and Pigface.
The second kit is blue/green based with Bellingen as the main colour and contrasts of Mandalay and Ghost.
We also showcase Isabell Kraemer’s design, Copenhagen Calling. My friend Ann has knit this cowl in Fair Dinkum yarn. With all its softness and the gorgeous stitches in the cowl, we have put yarn packs together in various colour combinations, for you to knit yourself a cowl, like Ann knit for her Aunty. Happy birthday to Ann’s aunty! She celebrates a wonderful 70 years!
Bendigo Sheep and Wool Festival is on in July and I would love to see you there! Please join Dingo Dyeworks on Friday, July 14th at the Schaller Studio Hotel, downstairs. Please bring your knitting or crochet for a meet and greet from 5-8pm. Meals and drinks available for purchase and late stayers are welcome!
The flowers on show in the vase this week are Grevillea spp
Thank you for joining me. Enjoy the podcast!
